Match Betting at Wimbledon 2016
For general strategies on match betting, see our guide to Betting on Tennis here. The amount of televised coverage of matches over the next two weeks lends itself particularly well to in play betting.
In theory, match betting at Wimbledon is less risky than at other times, because the top players are expected to give each match their all: this is no longer about grass court practice; niggling injuries are no longer being protected. This, in other words, is the big one. So, in general, backing the top seeds should more than not be profitable. This is certainly true on the men’s side; on the women’s, this has been a year of upsets, so be warned!
